What are the weaknesses and retreat cost of this Whismur card

This effect works best in multiplayer games, such as Commander, where the likelihood of a player choosing to let you draw a card rather than paying the one mana is much higher

Steer Clear is one of the weakest commons in the set and I almost want to call it a sideboard card against aggressive decks or specific combat tricks

It wont stop cards such as Deadly Rollick from the same cycle of cards and it cant beat the rare Exterminatus , but it definitely removes much of the risk involved with having a large board state if you havent been able to dedicate mana to holding up interaction
