Punakaiki Marvels, South Island Frame:ArtBox White some of New Zealand's mostPunakaiki, on the wild West Coast of the South Island, is famous for its Pancake Rocks, stacked limestone formations layered like pancakes, riddled with blowholes and surge pools where the Tasman Sea drives in. The site sits in Paparoa National Park. Stephen Milner photographed the layered rocks in black and white, the strange stacked limestone standing above the surf with the coast running north behind.
