Tektites Fluorite Rainbow Moonstone (white labradorite) SphereTektites are small, glassy objects that form when a large meteorite or asteroid strikes the Earth. The intense heat and pressure from the impact melts terrestrial rocks at the site, and some of this molten material is ejected high into the atmosphere.
