Dragonfly, on stick by Justin Wray MAC Member This series is inspired byDragonflies are pre historic insects, pre dating dinosaurs. Today, they are one of our most important predators no matter their stage in their life cycle. With respect to this photo itself, I like the simplicity of the colour palette here. The pale beige of the broken limb is echoed in the colour between the plates on the exoskeleton. The wing tips slightly out of focus suggest movement or the potential for movement even as the dragonfly is at rest.
