Made In The Form Of A Hinged Box With A Relief Depiction Of Christ Crucified, With A Saint At Each Arm Of The Cross. These Boxes Were Used As A Container To House Religious Relics, Such As A Splinter Of The True Cross Sold To Naive Pilgrims Visiting The Holy Lands. Condition is good, commensurate with age and use. Structurally sound. Measures 12cm
