ANVIL Depth: 22cm (8Anvil explores the connection made between four geometric shapes a cone, sphere, cylinder and a convex disk. The broad base of the sculpture and flat cross section of the disk was influenced by the shape of an anvil. The position of the hemispherical shape at one end of the disk affects its balance by drawing it downwards. The sculpture also resembles an old fashioned bassinet.
